Abstract

This intermediate report presents the progress of the project Complex Thinking Education for All (CTE4A): A Digital Hub and School for Lifelong Learners, funded under the Challenge-Based Research Funding Program 2023 at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Building on the outcomes of Stage 1, Stage 2 consolidates the pedagogical, technological, and strategic components required for the development and deployment of the ComplexHub platform. The report documents advancements in course design for complex and computational thinking aligned with CONOCER standards, the integration of digital simulators, and the development of platform functionalities such as automated evaluation of open educational resources using artificial intelligence. It also highlights the creation of user profiles, peer review mechanisms, and pathways for personalized learning. Collaborations with international partners, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and King’s College London, and national institutions such as UNAM and UASLP, have strengthened the academic and technological scope of the project. Outcomes include 40 Scopus-indexed publications, funding applications, and pilot validation of instruments. Furthermore, the report details business model development, network formation, dissemination strategies, and adherence to legal, ethical, and accessibility standards. Overall, CTE4A demonstrates significant progress toward becoming a sustainable, AI-driven hub for lifelong learning and digital education.
