dc.description.abstract | This Thesis Project develops the Design and Additive Manufacturing of a transtibial socket made by powder bed fusion. The use of digital three-dimensional technologies is registered in the entire research, the stump modifications of sensitive and pressure areas are registered in the manner that the advantages of the PTB (Patellar Tendon Bearing) and TSB (Total Surface Bearing) socket types are merged to take advantages of their better features. Finally, the proposal of a Protocol that evaluates the prosthesis assembly in a biomechanical and emotional response is proposed to improve the socket adjustement. | es_MX |
