- A hierarchical multiobjective problem for green logistics(2017-12-04) Salazar Zendeja, Luis Alberto; González Velarde, José Luis; Camacho Vallejo, José Fernando; José Fernando Camacho Vallejo; González Velarde, José Luis; Cárdenas Barrón, Leopoldo EduardoThroughout all the extension of this thesis a situation where a distribution company and a manufacturer company work within a supply chain in a hierarchically manner. Each one of them has to optimize their own operations to minimize costs in the case of the manufacturer company and maximize profit as well as minimize CO2 emissions for the distribution company. A green logistic approach is also desired in this research, which is one of the reasons that a minimization of greenhouse gas emissions is considered. The resulting formulation of the problem is a multiobjective bilevel model, therefore a GRASP metaheuristic within a weighted sum method was developed to tackle this problem. In addition, a second simpler methodology which consists to reformulate the problem only as a selection of the customers that will be visited was used. In the latter methodology, the specific modeling known as the Multiple Choice Model was implemented to remove the bilevel aspect of the situation resulting in an easier model. Afterwards, this model was solved by a proposed Labeling Algorithm which will be compared with the traditional -constraint method for multiobjective problems. Twelve test instances were generated in order to assess both methodologies. The experimental results as well as the approximated Pareto front are shown. Finally, this thesis work presents the importance of using these kind of modeling techniques in a supply chain.
- Desing of a deterministic closed-loop supply chain model for a product, with returns in the same period and following period(2017-12-04) Aguilera Garza, Héctor Eloy; González Velarde, José Luis; Zavila Río, Daniel; Sánchez García, José ManuelThe following work presents the study of a closed-loop supply chain problem, considering a single product with returns in the same period and in a subsequent period, considering only a deterministic model. The paper proposes a mixed integer mathematical model, which considers strategic and operational decisions, aimed at minimizing the expected total annual costs of the network considering different types of costs such as infrastructure costs, variable costs and operating profits. A computational experiment is presented in which the model is analyzed, the rate of return and recovery and the rescue value, and compared with another model created where the returns are only made within the same period.

Gran parte de las pequeñas y medianas empresas de un país en vías de desarrollo comienzan a poner en práctica metodologías que las conviertan en competidoras de un mercado internacional, sin embargo, el cambio de paradigma se ha dado paulatinamente y cuando se intenta poner en práctica conceptos nuevos, éstos ya han sido mejorados y modificados por las compañías que van a la punta de este movimiento. Una de las principales metodologías que han puesto en práctica las Organizaciones de Clase Mundial es la filosofía de Manufactura Esbelta, la cual desarrolla diferentes conceptos que se enfocan hacia la transformación de dichas empresas en Organizaciones de Clase Mundial. La meta de la Manufactura Esbelta se basa en satisfacer al cliente reduciendo el tiempo de ciclo de un producto mediante la eliminación de desperdicio [Womack, 1991]
