E-Book Creation - Current Considerations for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Students

Abstract

The webinar will explore the current environment that provides guidance to scholars, teachers, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions in the provision of open access resources in which elements could be developed, created and borrowed to facilitate translations in other sign languages in multiple countries. The seminar will discuss ways to pool resources and ensure support beyond basic provision of translated material with the view to facilitating multi-lingual language acquisition in deaf children and youth on an international scale.
