Mini data logger system

The Mini Data Logger is an automotive data acquisition and storage system capable of reading messages through a CAN bus and writing them in a SD-Card. The purpose of the devices to connect itself to a CAN bus, acquire and store specific frames coming from the car and even from different signal acquisition modules connected to it, according to the user requirements. The company AFT Atlas Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH, AFT from now on, requested this project in order to redesign one of their products to have the capability of reading data from any automotive company, not only from a specific one, and with a reasonable cost (company's current problem). The hardware to redesign is the DATroniC 3.0 available only for Mercedes Benz trucks. --Introduction.
