The Problem of the Moral Act in the Context of Neurosciences for a Hylomorphic or Analogical Philosophy of the Mind

In considering the moral act, in this essay the author attempts to underline the importance of freedom. His analysis is founded on the problem of contemporary neuroscience in proposing a hilemorphic or an analogic vision of man, which trans lates into a helimorphic vision of the mind. Thus the author's proposition states that freedom —and consequently the moral act, both refer to what classics call voũç.

En este trabajo el autor busca destacar la importancia que la libertad tiene para considerar el acto moral. Parte de las problemáticas de las neuro-ciencias contemporáneas para proponer una visión hilemórfica o analógica del hombre, que se traduce como una visión hilemórfica de la mente. Así, el autor propone que la libertad y, en consecuencia, el acto moral, se refieren a la dimensión que los clásicos denominan voũç.
