MPLS using Estimation of The Hurst Parameter

The great demand of computer networks has caused the necessity of use models that permit us to analyze with better efficient, so this permit us to improve the quality of service and increment the network capacities. The present work studies the Self Similarity concept in traffic information. This concept can be applied in models most actually used as OPSF, and others in developed as MPLS, in tunnels creation. For this two protocols in this work we make an analysis with the traditional model that is Poisson, and using Self Similarity which are involved the algorithms VTP and Ontime VTP, which parameters are TheHurstParameters that indicate the quantity of traffic that is travelling in the link where the analysis is been applied. This have a good advantage because we can take a decision in the network before one specific link get collapsed when exist a many traffic in the network.
