| dc.description.abstract | Ultrasonic micro injection molding was confirmed to be an efficient processing technique for the fabrication of a well-filled miniaturized dog-bone shaped specimen of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). The influence of parameters such as mold temperature, plunger velocity profile, vibrational amplitude, shape of raw material, is analyzed using techniques such as the Design of Experiments, and a methodological proposal. | |
