The aim of this study is to identify the different stages of the relationship of the mining industry with a rural commllllity. The relevance of this topic is that an llllattended relationship between the mining industry and a nrral commmrity could generate negative consequences related to hwnan rights violations. There are also effects such as environmental damages that directly affect people's health. The methodology is based on content analysis, specifically the relational analysis technique. Information in newspapers and magazines was analyzed to show how mining companies and nrral commmrity handle conflicts, failures and successes. In conclusion, a theoretical model was proposed where dialogue is key to establishing a sustainable relationship between the mining industry and the nrral commllllity.
